Recipes Using MaineFlavor Intense Raspberry Sauce

Raspberry-Apple Refresher

  • Fresh raspberries
  • Fresh apple, sliced
  • Wooden skewers that are 2 or 3 inches longer than the height of your glass
  • MaineFlavor Intense Raspberry Sauce, thawed
  • 1 part tart sparkling cider
  • 3 parts sparkling water

Thread fruit garnish (apple/berry/apple…. or whatever arrangement makes you happy) onto one end of each skewer.

You can make this in a pitcher, a punchbowl, a dispenser with a spigot, or a single glass.  We start with a teaspoon of sauce at the bottom of a single glass (50 mL of sauce at the bottom of a 1-gallon punchbowl, and 100 mL at the bottom of our 2-gallon dispenser) stirring in cider, then adding sparkling water to taste.  Add a fruit skewer to each filled glass.   Enjoy!

Best Peach Melba Ever!  (1 serving)

  • Fresh, ripe peach (or ripe nectarine)
  • MaineFlavor Intense Raspberry Sauce, thawed
  • Your favorite vanilla or almond ice cream

Peel, pit, and slice the peach (a very large peach may be enough for two servings).  Place a slice or two in the bottom of a pretty dessert dish or goblet, add a few dots of Intense Raspberry Sauce and a scoop or two of ice cream, top with more peach slices and drizzle with more sauce.  Enjoy!
